Michael, affectionately known as GoGo Mike by his by peers. He started playing the trombone in elementary school. Once he picked it up, he never put it back down. After mastering his skill, he played in several bands, from Black Love to EU. Michael was a Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Uncle. He leaves behind a loving Wife Kathy, 4 children, Stephanie, Michael, Tanequa and Christopher. One Sister Conchetta, aka Connie, one brother, Clifford, aka Skip and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews and Cousins. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Phyllis Taylor and Father, Clifford Taylor. His nephew Robert Lindsay.
As a little boy, Michael use to love to read comic books and watch Speed Racer. He would run home with one of his school mates to get to the TV first just to keep his sister and brother for getting to the TV first. He loved swimming, music, and the Lord. He loved his family and he loved to cook. He enjoyed singing, He was a fantastic cook too. He would entertain his friends and family by doing the Rock eyebrow lift, and imitating Barry White. Michael was the type of Man who would call you just to see how you were doing, talk and have a good laugh. He enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.
You knew he loved the Lord, because he led by example, he did not put his needs or desires before those he cared about. We miss you and will always love you.
